Above: A quick sketch of stuff on the kitchen counter, including the "puppy" squash. With Faber-Castell Pitt Artist's Calligraphy pen on a 6 x 8 inch (approx.) page spread from a book I made with Gutenberg.
Sometimes I want to warm up and just turn and look at whatever is lying around.
One of the many fun things about working on Gutenberg paper is the way the pebbly texture of the paper breaks up your pen line. Yet I have no difficulty working with fine point pens (.1 or even .005 Staedtler Pigment LIners) and dip pens on this paper.
You can see yesterday's post and learn why I call this a "puppy" squash if you missed that.
