I just found out from the help folks at Cafe Press that you cannot have more than one item in your "store" unless you upgrade your store to a paid store! Now I may have missed all this when I signed up, but I read things pretty carefully, so it wasn't clear.
I spent a LOT of time setting up a shop that if I'd known this was the case I wouldn't have bothered with. So why bother to get people to do that? Well once they have that time invested of course they'll upgrade right? Not me.
So there is only one button at my shop, and there will be only one button because I spent so much time setting up the shop and the remainder of my free time struggling to get it to accept more items. Sigh.
Buttons weren't the big thing about International Fake Journal Month to begin with so it's no big deal in the broad scheme of things. (I was using the IFJM button as a test for other projects. Now I know I won't be doing anything with Cafe Press beyond this button.)
I'm mentioning my experience here so you don't get caught by the same trick!
I went to Cafe Press because a friend who knew I wanted to make buttons simply suggested it off the top of her head.
Now of course after my experience I have looked into other options. There are many out there and they are very clear about what is free and what you're getting into. And their prices were less than Cafe Press on the items I was interested in for the future.
So please keep this in mind if you decide to do print on demand items. Check out other options beyond Cafe Press!

Eric at lintyfresh.com is using a very easy multi-item site complete with paypal interface, analytics, etc. You might check with him.

Dave, thanks for the suggestion as this wasn’t one I was aware of. I will keep it in mind next time I want to do this type of thing!

Just got word from Eric of lintyfresh (he’s in China right now) … it’s called big cartel (http://bigcartel.com/). Very easy, simple, and clean.
(I’m not affiliated with bigcartel.com in anyway.)

Dave thanks for the link to Big Cartel, looks similar to Zazzle and others and it’s always great to have options. People can look into it and see if it does what they need. Thanks for passing it along.
