What strikes you as important? Memorable? When you hear or read something do you jot it down?
I’m always making reading notes.
They have absolutely (usually, as now) nothing to do with my sketches on the page. They were just part of the same day.
I jot them down, and move on.
I do find that over time the process suggests new projects for me and helps me identify things I might not know I’m interested in. Or helps me better enjoy those things I’m am interested in.
No great illumination today. I’ve been interested in characters since I learned to read around 3.5 years of age.
I’m rereading Agatha Christie right now. Who knows what tomorrow will bring.
