On Monday I was able to sit in on a Zoom meeting with members of the Minnesota Visual Journaling Collective.
I had some trouble with my Zoom set up and I couldn’t access my camera at first, and then I couldn’t make the grid view visible. That meant I had to wait until someone spoke so their face would come up on my screen. And when we were supposed to sketch people I only got a few seconds view…but you can follow your way around the 9 x 12 inch page of Stonehenge Printing and Drawing paper.
I had a new Tombow Fudenosuke Brush pen and it was a joy to work on this paper.
Thanks to Molly Anthony and Briana Briana Goetzen who head this group and created a fun evening. Not only was it fun to has some sketching time with friends, but the stories shared were hilarious and we couldn’t stop laughing. (See item 6.)
