Textures Class Registration Opens Today and Other Online Class News

February 26, 2020

The registration page for my Textures class is now open. Registration closes on March 27. Class begins on March 28.

If you’ve always wondered how I make the background textures for my visual journaling and mixed media art sign up for this class. There are detailed videos for every step of the process and extensive information on all the materials I use: why I use them and how I use them. It’s a great way to add some play and experimentation into your visual journaling and artwork.

If you would like to read a detailed post about why I use textures in my work you can see one here.

The complete class schedule is now up on this page 2020 Online Classes.

You can go there any time to join my on-going classes By-Design and The Simple Pamphlet Book. (The Pamphlet class is a free class jammed full of great information on paper handling useful for any book binder.)

You’ll also find all the other classes I’ll be offering online this year, listed by month. There are links to the registration pages where you read class specifics and find supply list links. Please note that the registration pages, while visible, will not be live until registration opens—typically one month before class is scheduled to begin. Those dates are listed in the class blurb and on the registration pages.

I hope you’ll go and check things out.

You can also sign up for my Patreon-Roz-Interim subscription blog at any time, on a month by month basis. There you’ll see videos of me sketching and painting, reviews on art materials, demonstrations with different media, and blog posts on creativity…Subscribers to Tier 3 receive access to a private group where they can continue chatting about the topics we discuss in our monthly webinar. (The group is a new feature.)

Just registered for the upcoming March Textures class! Really look forward to it. Debated on taking it before taking Drawing practice.
Here is something that may be an issue for other readers. Or maybe I need an explanation. In the listing for the class it mentions a detailed post about the class and why Roz uses textures.
It links to the post. When I click on the link it says it’s protected and you need a password to read it. Maybe I will be able to read it later on? Is it something Roz wants people to see before they sign up for class to help them decide to sign up?

Thanks for pointing this out. I’ve been getting help to fix my website and that post got bulk shut while all this was going on. I’ll go open that up tonight. (It’s always something, when you try to fix something else.)

Melanie, that’s fixed. Now to fix the other stuff!

      Thanks again.
