In Context—Painting on Drawing Paper

January 3, 2020

Two page spreads today from one of my Hahnemühle Travel Journals. (These are hardcover books that look like Moleskines, but these have more pages and a toothy drawing paper.) I used a Sakura Pigma Professional Brush Pen FB, watercolor, and a 1/2 inch flat brush.

Take a moment to look at all the pieces in blow up mode (click on any of them for the gallery). Then you’ll see what I enjoy so much about working on this paper—the fun things that happen to the paper.

Are you allowing yourself to have enough fun in your journal?

Remind me, just why is that?
