In January I started rewatching “Death in Paradise.”
It’s a “murder/detective/fish-out-of-water” show that I have enjoyed since first seeing it on PBS several years ago.
I don’t want to give significant details away about the whole arc of the series, but basically an English policeman, not well liked at home for being a bit fussy is packed off to the Caribbean to solve crime with the local force.
There are a lot of fun characters in the show over the 7 seasons I’ve been able to watch. Starting at the beginning again has been fun.
Below is a brush pen sketch I made of actor Don Warrington, while watching an episode in 2018. Warrington plays the police commissioner. He has a wonderful face which I have many ink sketches of simply because he is so fun to draw.

I have read that season 8 and 9 were planned, but Brexit might effect the shooting. Here’s hoping for more seasons.
Yes, great show, especially to watch in January, if you live up north. 🙂
I always wish for that apartment on the beach.
The little shack on the beach with the gecko (?Lizard), does look inviting.
I love this show. So fun to sketch. All those great hats….
