April 22, 2015

Won't come to Minnesota to take a bookbinding class with me because April Twenty-first's snow storm has you scared?

Then take one of my online bookbinding classes—Simple Round Back Spine begins May 2, 2015. (Read more about the class and registration details at this link.)

Work from the comfort of your own home. You can even show up to class in your bathrobe. (But not your good bathrobe, because PVA* doesn't wash out.)

Take advantage of a discounted supply set at Wet Paint—available through April 24 (that's Friday!)

Just need to pick up the paper and a few items we'll be using? Click here to Download the_Supply List_ PDF.

Can't join in the class beginning May 2? Don't worry.

I'll be offering this class again either in the fall or early in 2016. Then over the next two years I'll be releasing five other binding classes. Each binding class will feature a book structure perfect for visual journaling.

I'll also be releasing painting and drawing classes in the coming months.

Subscribe to this blog to get on my notification list.

I look forward to working with you.

*PVA—polyvinyl acetate is the type of glue we'll be using!

Ahhh shucks, I checked this morning and registration was still open for the Simple Round Back Spine Book making class. I came back just now, and registration is closed. I am having that kind of day.
Anyway, I would love to join you if you decide to squeeze in more students!!!
Otherwise, I am sure I will read on the blog when you are offering the class again.
I am sure it will be a terrific class, Have Fun!!!

I hope to take it next time. I was just checking to see if it was an “anytime” class but its not. I don’t have reliable internet for another 2-3 weeks so its a bummer for me. Maybe I can get the supplies ready in the meantime as I have a lot of them and will make my own bookcloth. Is everyone who was on the first notification list on it still for the second time around?

Timaree, thanks for thinking about class. It will be offered again. I can’t do it as an “anytime class” because I have to schedule my involvement in the classroom. If you are on the list that received a special notification about this offering yes, you’ll be on the notification list. (Originally I was hoping to offer it again in the fall, but that’s looking pretty tight so it might be early 2016.) I look forward to working with you. Thanks for asking!
