Drawing as a Collaborative Effort

September 3, 2013

See the full post.

My friend Tom always finds the most interesting art related items to send to me. Yesterday he sent me a post from "the Busy Mockingbird".

Mica Angel Hendricks is a talented illustrator who recently wrote about sketching with her 4-year-old-daughter. Hendricks would sketch portraits and then turn the drawing over to her daughter to add bodies.

The results are brilliant and charming, and a great exercise in sharing. You'll love them. Go look at them today. There are life lessons for us all in her experience.

Talk about great minds…I just found this article on my own and immediately raced over here to give you the link. Only to see you already saw it! 🙂

Amber, be sure to keep me in mind when you find other such things, because Tom isn’t omniscient! And I’d love to hear. Thanks for writing in and thanks for thinking of me. I am just amazed at this wonderful collaboration!

    Will do!

And, I’ve already purchased two of their prints!
