Internet Cat Video Film Festival at the Walker Art Center Last Week

See the full post for details and links.

The above video Henri 2, Paw de Deux by Will Braden won the Internet Cat Video Festival at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis on August 30, 2012. I was unable to attend, but we can all still enjoy the winning entry. And if you go to the Walker blog post promoting the event there is a wonderful "Kitten filmed playing in slow motion" that's not to be missed.

You can read more about the event in the New York Times piece here. Be sure to click on the first video in the left column under "Multimedia" to see some people at the festival talking about cat videos and the event.

There were about 10,000 people in attendance which gives credence to the fact that the internet is indeed made of cats!

(You'll find the entire playlist for the festival here. You can cut and paste the titles or the auteur's name into YouTube's search and they are pretty easy to find.)

And of course because I can't resist "les Chats Ninjas." They defy gravity! And this one almost makes me want to get a cat.

Enjoyed the Vernacular video – I want to see more. Even though I don’t like cats I like funny videos of them. That French cat is hilarious.
Hope things are going well for you.
