Above: Don't adjust your screens. This paper is a very light icy blue! I was sketching with a Pentel Pocket Brush Pen and painting with Schmincke gouache. I made the paper into a 10 x 10 inch journal. Edges of the scan are clipped, but you get the idea.
I had to post this late night piece, made while sketching from television in my light blue Stonehenge paper journal. It just makes me smile to remember the evening and the fun I had working on this paper. Yes the purple-haired lady is drawn and painted over another sketch of her that I didn't feel like painting. Isn't gouache marvelous?!
While this paper is not good for bookbinding (it cracks severely when you fold it with the grain), it is lovely to sketch on with the Pentel Pocket Brush Pen; and it is an absolute dream to paint on it with gouache. I'll continue to use it for flat work.
