Another Note about Strathmore 500 Series Mixed Media Paper in Sheets

January 28, 2012

120108TimothyLeft: a quick brush sketch using a 3/4 inch filbert and a #12 round with Schmincke Dark Indigo Gouache (and some titanium white in places).

This may not look much like Timothy Hutton (I was watching "Leverage") but I sure had fun moving the paint around before going to bed.

To read more about the Strathmore 500 Series Mixed Media Paper now available in sheets start reading my posts from January 23, 2012, beginning with "Great Paper News."

Disclaimer: I've said this earlier, but it bears repeating since there is a barrage of posts on this paper—I'm not aligned in any financial way with Strathmore (I taught a class for them last year but that was paid for and finished). I am thrilled that they have brought this paper out in sheets so I can bind my own books with it. And since my blog is about my journal, these pages are what I have available to write about at present. And yes, I am enthused about this paper!
