Above: Collaged page from my recently completed Stonehenge kraft journal, 10 x 8 inches. Read below for more details.
Every moment of spare time I have right now is being spent sewing up little books for the MCBA Visual Journal Collective's "Box of Journaling Bits Exchange" which happens on Monday. So here is a quick post until I can rejoin the "typing."
If you don't know anything about this paper, read "Stonehenge Kraft Paper Cracking When Folded with the Grain."
The dog sketch here was done with a Pentel Pocket Brush pen on Hahnemühle's Nostalgie—that paper surface is like Teflon.
The page was prepainted with rubberstamp reinkers and acrylic paints (I dipped the cap of an old pen in some paint to make the dots). Then I used the tape and decorative paper that you see. Just for fun, just because I was coming to the end of a journal, just because.
