KJE Felties Are Available through the Holiday Season 2011!

November 2, 2011

See the post for full details.

WhiteBirdinNest4Left: One of the new members of the KJE Felties family—nested birds made with vintage millinery feathers, silver wire and Czech glass beads. This piece is approx. 4 x 2.5 inches.

Just because you don't celebrate a holiday or put up decorations doesn't mean you can live without these delightful needle-felted birds. I'm a pantheist so of course I have several.

Readers of this blog will remember that Karen Engelbretson is the creative mind and hands behind these delightful creations. You can read about and see images of the 2010 "crop" of KJE Felties here. You can read about and see images ofthe 2009 "crop of KJE Felties here

Each year Karen continues to make some fan favorites like cardinals and bluebirds, but sometimes she does special creatures. Last year it was polar bears in a variety of poses. This year she has created delightful nested birds. You really do need to check out what she has come up with.
