Not only articulate and insightful in conversation and observation Graham turns his painter's eye towards those places in modern life that we all pass through in the course of our days. After you look at his paintings and see the scrutiny he brings to bear while describing these places—places caught between the moments of life—you'll look around your world in a new way. You can find images of Graham's paintings here.
While you're at his site take time to check out his films as well.
Graham's tight brushwork and precise work pairs well with the lush, bright colors and looser approach of Michael Schmidt's urbanscapes. Schmidt's skylines—prickly with wires, telephone poles, water towers and other structures—create a complex interplay of negative space while at the same time editing and focusing our attention again on our environment.
