Project Art for Nature's next group show runs from August 19 through September 26, 2011. There is an opening reception on August 26 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.; and a rountable discussion with the artists on September 25, from 2 to 4 p.m.
All this is happening at the Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson, Wisconsin. (It's about a 35-minute drive from the "intersection" of 280 and 94.)
Twenty six artists from this group of nature artists will be displaying works in a variety of media ranging from paintings to sculpture to textile creations. The show is entitled, "Places Between, Species Within."
If you are interested in nature conservancy and love art depicting interpretations of the natural world go to PAN's site to learn more about this group, its members, and its goals. Then take a pleasant drive over to Hudson to check out the artwork.
