Project Art for Nature is having a new group show.

River Falls Public Library, Kleinspell Gallery, 140 Union Street, River Falls, WI

Opening Reception Sunday, September 12, 2010, 1 to 4 p.m.

The show runs through October 9, 2010. If you live in the Twin Cities be sure to check it out. It's easily accessible from the Cities, especially the eastern metropolitan area. (I live pretty much smack dab in the Center of the Metro Area [east-west] at the borders of Minneapolis and St. Paul. It takes me about 50 minutes to get there.)

Some of the great stuff you'll see includes wonderful landscapes by pastel and oil painter Diane Wesman, delicate and detailed watercolors from Vera Ming Wong, and bold acrylic paintings from Barbara Harman. I'm not sure who else is participating in this show—there are several members who are new to the group since I left in 2007—but you are sure to find inspired and joyous nature-related art.

And 20 percent of sales from the art in this show will go to the Kinnikinnic River Land Trust!
